Welcome to the Harlem Valley in beautiful eastern Dutchess County, and the towns of Amenia, Dover Plains, Millbrook, Millerton, Pine Plains & Stanfordville. Tucked away at the foothills of the Berkshire and Taconic Mountains, and nestled in between the Taconic State Parkway and the Route 22 corridor, the towns of the Harlem Valley are steeped with tradition, business, grand shopping, delicious dining, fine arts, and much more. An easy commute from New York City by car or train — we invite you to come visit us. We’re sure once you do, you will want to come back again and again.

THE MOVIEHOUSE RECEIVED A 2016 DUTCHESS COUNTY EXECUTIVE ARTS AWARD!
“We were among the proud recipients of a 2016 Dutchess County Executive’s Arts Award for The M’s support and contribution to the Arts in Dutchess County and the Hudson Valley region. Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro, members of Arts Mid-Hudson and civic leaders, honored this year’s recipients at a reception held recently. This is the 30th Anniversary of the Awards, originally founded by then Dutchess County Executive Lucille Pattison in 1986 with a purpose to recognize the individuals and institutions that contribute to the area’s artistic quality.”
